Anonymous asked: Hai hai. Love your tumblr. I really want to know how to make this kind of effect in photo -infinite post/20278193874. Oh please, could you make a tutorial on this. Please help! Thanks a million

hey thankyou! i didnt do much fr this too tbh ;~;

  • open up photo, add colourings to it (the psd i used is kinda similar to this, i just adjusted a few things)
  • open up this texture, drag it to the photo, set it to screen mode
  • open up anthr photo, add in colourings, flatten image, resize it to smaller size (i resized it to 185 (width) 145 (height))
  • drag the photo to the one you’re working on earlier and place it on top of the frame (like this)
  • lastly, open up this texture, drag it to photo, set mode to screen

and tadah you’re done!

Anonymous asked: Hi! Your edits are amazing! Do you mind to give tutorial on this photo- I need to know how you put the texture and what kind of psd is that. Thank you ver much -post/23168606348

thankyou! hmm, not much is done actl.

  • open the photo, resize it to 245 (width) and height will be up to you.
  • add in your colorings (fr this psd, i actl frogot whr i gt it from, but i think this is some what similar)
  • open this texture, drag it to your photo, put it in screen mode, and thn ctlr + j it.
  • that’s basically it~

as for the words, i did that myself ;~;

Anonymous asked: hello! can you teach me how to make the edges of an edit round? like this one /post/22519008580 i know that you use a texture but how do you make the picture the same shape as the texture?? sorry if this sounds confusing :[ thank you so much for your help

after i edited the photo, i use this texture and put it to screen mode. that’s all :)

helloimmon asked: Can you give me a tutorial photoshop editing of post/21384307630 ? Thanks :)

hey, it’s actl nothing much ^__^

i just took screencaps of the teaser (resize it all in the same size), and thn compile it tgthr. and for the bunny thing, it’s also a screencap (), & since it’s a black bg i put it on screen mode. and thn i put on some colorings, and this texture, and done~

hi! so iheartkpop asked me to make a tutorial on my background (similar to the one ^ up there), so yeah here it goes.

1. file > new > (for tumblr edits, width: 500pixels ; height: {anyth you want}) & (for backgrounds, mine is usually, width: 1369pixels ; height: 650pixels)

2. open up your photos (i’ll be using this and this)

3. drag photos to the new file.

4. do colorings or put in psds which you can get here.

5. i change my background color to black (double click on background layer to unlock it, and double click again and click color overlay)

6. thn i erase the background of the jiyong photos

7. add in this texture, set the mode to screen

8. layer > flatten image & thn save it ^_^

i actl spent a few days finding + learning this, b u t this is pretty simple actl. maybe i’m just a noob / slow, or i find that the way the people frm the sites i learnt frm explained it in a complicated way lol.

1. open up your image and drag it to a new canvas

2. add in your colorings and whatsoever. after that, layer > flatten image

3. duplicate layer (ctrl + j)

4. layer > new fill layer > solid color [mode: lighten]

5. choose the color you want > ok

6. merge your color layer + duplicated layer [how? -> (select these layers > ctlr + e)]

7. set the merged layer to darken [x]

8. move the layer to how you want the ‘shadow’ to be

9. layer > flatten image, then save it

ta-dah, you’re done~

ps: you kinda have to have trial and error about the choosing of colors @ step 6. cos @ step 8 when you move the layer to become shadow, the color might not be seen/suitable. so you just have to alt + ctrl + z until step 6 and choose the color again.

so the anon ask me to make a tutorial on this edit. all i have to say is that, since it’s like 4 edits put in 1, you have to do it on 4 separate canvas. [note: overall size is 500 x 500 so it’s 250 x 250 for each pic, all in pixels]

the top left edit is just texture + your own text, that’s it :>

so here’s the tutorial on “putting photos in circles/rectangles” (like the other 3 edits)

1. file > new > 250 x 250

2. drag your texture onto the file

3. select rectangular (for rectangle shapes!) or elliptical (for circle/oval shapes!) marquee tool > draw it however you want > ctrl + shift + i > ctrl + shift + j (make sure your texture is selected on the layer panel)

4. drag your photo onto the file (make sure it’s under your texture!)

5. if you have 2/3/more photos you wanna add, just repeat step 3 & 4 and erase the parts of photo that overlaps your othr photos.

that is all n____n

dear anon, hope this is what you wanted. any doubts/questions, feel free to drop by my ask thankyou :>

tutorial: create fading images using the tweening thingy.

so hi, i’m back with anthr tutorial, requested by someone. this tutorial will tell you how to make gif images as well as fading them.

1. open a new blank file, as well as all the photos you wanna use.

2. drag all your photos to the new file and position it.

3. make sure animation window is open. if not, go window > animation.

4. at the layer panel, make sure only first photo has the eye selected ()

5. duplicate the frames as many as how many photos you have. for example, i’m using 3 photos, so i only have 3 frames. how to duplicate frames: ()

6. click second frame in the animation window and untick the eye of the first photo and tick the eye of the second photo in layer panel ()

7. do it for all the frames. (3rd frame tick 3rd photo and so on..)

step ends here if you only wanna make gif images.

8. click on first frame and then click tweening tool ()

9. this will pop out, ‘frames to add’ can be up to you. [the more it is the smoother your gif is i guess. i always use from less thn depending on the number of the frames of original frames.] ‘tween with’ will always be ‘next frame’, except for the last frame! for last frame ‘tween with’ will be ‘first frame’

10. repeat step 9 for all the frames~

11. select all your frames and adjust the timing. [i usually make the main photo frames have longer timing, and the tweened frames have shorter timing.]

12. file > save for web & devices

and ta-dah! you’ll get smth like this (+ adding colorings and stuffs):

Anonymous asked: How do you make a line between the two images. ;A; recent your edit

hmm, how do i explain this..
thr might be othr ways, but wht i did was use the rectangular marquee tool, select a small part of one of the image, ctrl + t, move it slight to the other image beside it. hope you get wht i mean lololll.

tutorial: using radial blur effect

here’s a tutorial on this edit. & i use this texture. (there might be different ways, but this is th way i do it. also, you’ve been warned: i suck at explaining)

1. file > new > width: 500 height: 550 (anyth you want, but this is this is th one i always use)

2. open th texture > select it (ctrl + a) > drag it to the new file just nw.

3. duplicate it (ctl + j is the shortcut) > drag it to cover up the white space

4. (optional) right click the duplicated texture > merge down

5. open the photos you wanna use

6. select the photo and drag it to the one you’re editing it on > set it to darken

7. do the same for all the photos you want

8. duplicate your photos (ctrl + j is the shortcut) preview

9. for the duplicated layers > filter > blur > radial blur > adjust according to your own liking > ok

10. do it for all the duplicated layers

11. open animation tab (window > animation)

12. create a few frames based th number of photos you use (i use 2 photos, so i creat 4 frames) [how to create frames? just click on this button]

13. for each of the frame, make sure only th photo you want it appear is check, the rest is unchecked. lost? take a look at this: X X X X

14. it’s pretty much done, after you add in your own colorings and all.

*as for the ‘effect’ like the “i will protect it all” phrase: make a text > ctrl + j > filter > blur > motion blur > ok > set it like this (also, you can adjust to your own liking)

/ugh it’s really simple to do this, but why do i feel as tho i make it so complicated. feel free to drop your questions if you have any.
